Limitations of importing Salesforce Reports

Are there any limits on importing Salesforce reports into Symon.AI?

  • There is a limit of 2000 records to import Salesforce reports into Symon.AI. To import reports containing a larger number of records, there are three workarounds available:

    1. Date filters can be added to the Salesforce Report limiting the data to 2K rows. In Symon, you would import each filtered dataset.

For example, if you have four reports each with 2K rows, in Symon you would have four data connectors. The drawback is that it could be tedious if you have a large dataset. However, once it is set up, you can automate your pipe runs.

    2. You can create a Salesforce custom object instead of the report, with the same values through query or filters. You can then import this custom object into Symon.AI.

    3. You can download the report (no limit) and upload it as a CSV in Symon. The drawback is automating the pipe in Symon. You would have to manually upload the file each time you run the pipe.
