Datachat beta is not able to understand what I want to do. What do I do next?

It depends on the type of transformation you're trying to do. You'll likely need to add a tool manually.
You can open the toolbar using the chevron button on the far right.
Click add tool.
Search in the top search bar for the type of transformation you want to do.
Click add tool, then configure it in the left panel.
